Competition Days: Wednesday or Saturdays
1. Playing Format
Each game is played on a half-court with one basket.
Teams consist of 3 players on the court per team.
Games are played to 21 points or a 10-minute running clock, whichever comes first.
2. Scoring System
1 point for baskets made inside the arc.
2 points for shots made beyond the arc.
1 free throw for fouls on a shot attempt inside the arc.
2 free throws for fouls on a shot attempt beyond the arc.
3. Shot Clock & Possession
No jump ball—the game starts with a coin flip, and the winner chooses possession.
After a made basket or dead ball, the defense must clear the ball beyond the arc before attacking.
4. Fouls & Free Throws
Team fouls 1-6: Standard foul rules apply.
7+ team fouls: Opposing team gets 2 free throws on every foul.
Offensive fouls result in a turnover (no free throws).
5. Substitutions & Timeouts
Subs can only be made during dead ball situations.
One 30-second timeout per team per game.
6. Overtime Rules
First team to 2 points in overtime wins.
Possession determined by a coin flip.
7. Clear-Out Rule
After a defensive rebound, steal, or turnover, the ball must be cleared beyond the arc before attempting to score.
Dead Ball & Check-In
After a dead ball, the ball is checked at the top of the arc before play resumes.
Defensive team must allow the offense to start play before pressuring.
These rules ensure fast-paced, competitive, and skill-driven 3×3 basketball action!
